Information Design Exercises
For week one, we present about Manuel Lima's 9 Directives Manifesto.
For exercise one, we were to make an info graph using either buttons or legos, where I chose buttons that are purple colour, for this exercise. So, first of all I arranged and separated the buttons into same types, to make it more easier to see and observe. Where below is the picture of the arranged buttons according to colour and size.
After doing that, I try to figure out how to fit all the buttons in A4 paper, where I have separated into two sections, ' Buttons with two holes' and 'Buttons with four holes', then arranged it according from large to small size and whether the buttons are matte or glossy, where below is the final outcome for it.
Exercise two.
For our exercise two, we were given a task to create an info graphic poster about four Pokemon, in the same generations. Where I chose the Pokemon in fourth generations, and included the area they live and all the evolution accordingly.
My idea was to make the Pokemon living area arranged in different parts inside a game device Nintendo, as I remember playing Pokemon games using it. So above is the idea sketch for the info graphic poster.
This is the final outcome of the info graphic poster of the Pokemon and their evolution, which I made it using adobe illustrator.
